Discussion about the issues of constitutional law

The 3rd International Symposium on “Constitutional Rights and the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions’ (AACC) Members” was organized virtually on November 10-11, 2021 by the AACC Secretariat for Research and Development.

The symposium was attended by representatives of constitutional review bodies of Asian countries, university scholars, as well as Mr. Gianni Buquicchio, President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, and Mr. Chinbat Namjil, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia and President of AACC.

The symposium covered the following themes: “Common Values and Diverse Aspects of Constitutional Rights in Asia”, “Constitutional Rights: New Challenges”, and “Constitutional Adjudication and the Universality of Human Rights”.

In addition, Mr. Erdenebulgan Juujaa, Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, delivered a speech on “Constitutional Review and Human Rights Protection” at the symposium.

The staff of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia regularly participate in the preparation of the annual reports compiled by the AACC Secretariat for Research and Development.
